Office Fit-Out
In response to the shift toward remote and hybrid working during the pandemic, Akçelikembraced a new workplace model by reimagining its headquarters in SütluceIstanbul. Spanning 13,000 m² across Blocks A and B, the renovation aimed to align the office environment with evolving work habits while preserving key existing infrastructure—including ceiling, electrical, and mechanical systems.
All modular partitions and desks were removed to create a more open, flexible layout. Daylit façades, peripheries, and outward-facing views were redesigned to offer diverse working scenarios and encourage problem-solving through spatial variety. The design centresaround open, central zones supported by peripheries, gathering spaces, fostering both collaboration and focus.
A vibrant atmosphere was achieved through the use ofdynamic wall colours, acoustic ceiling panels, accent carpeting, and soft furnishings. Existing workstation ports were repurposed with new tabletops to maintain sustainability and cost-efficiency, while open kitchenettes were retained and integrated into the updated design. The addition of greenery throughout the office further enhanced well-being and brought a sense of nature into the workspace.
