Huawei initiated the design of a Chinese cafeteria in Maslak, intended to serve both employees and service providers. The program was structured around three primary zones: the buffet dining hall, the VIP lounge, and the VIP dining area.

The design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese architecture, incorporating culturally significant elements and a warm, authentic material palette. Wicker panels, timber finishes, and bamboo light fixtures contribute to a rich and immersive atmosphere. In the buffet dining area, small-scale mosaics and lush greenery add vibrancy and texture, creating a welcoming and dynamic environment.

The VIP meeting room is subtly divided by structural columns, forming a central open space surrounded by semi-private zones. These areas can be acoustically treated to enhance privacy and flexibility. Natural materials such as wood and mesh are complemented by curtains, which provide both sound absorption and soft control of natural light.

In the VIP dining hall, architectural columns have been reimagined as integrated design features incorporating bench seating and overhead extensions to create a cohesive spatial experience. Earth-toned columns, fabric-upholstered benches, indoor planting, and globe lighting fixtures work together to establish a balanced, inviting, and refined setting.
